Overview
ROM FL, LLC d/b/a ROM Florida (“ROM Florida,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides website design, SEO, hosting, maintenance, and digital marketing services. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, disclosed, and protected when you visit romflorida.com, submit an inquiry, use an approved website chat widget, or otherwise communicate with us through the website.
Information We Collect
We may collect information you voluntarily provide, including your name, email address, phone number, company details, and anything else you choose to submit through our forms, chat, booking tools, or email. We may also collect technical information such as browser type, device details, referring pages, site interactions, and analytics data used to understand performance and improve the website.
How We Use Information
We use information to respond to inquiries, schedule consultations, provide requested services, improve website performance, maintain records, send relevant service communications, and evaluate how visitors use the site. We may also use this information for internal reporting, quality control, and legitimate business operations related to ROM Florida’s marketing services.
Website Chat, Calls, and Messaging
If you contact ROM Florida through a clearly disclosed website chat widget, form, or another approved communication method, we may respond by email, phone, or text message about your inquiry or service request. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to opt out of text messaging and HELP for assistance. Consent to receive communications is not a condition of purchase.
Conversations with our website chat assistant are processed to answer your questions and improve service quality. Chat transcripts (your messages and the assistant’s replies) are retained for up to 30 days for quality review and support follow-up, then deleted automatically. These transcripts do not include your IP address, device identifiers, or browser details. If you share contact information in chat so our team can follow up, that information is handled like any other inquiry under this policy.
SMS Messaging Terms and Conditions
ROM Florida’s messaging program consists of general conversational messages used to answer questions, coordinate consultations, and provide customer support in response to customer inquiries. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
You may cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to the phone number from which you received messages. We will send a confirmation message after your request, and you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you later want to receive messages again, sign up as you did before or contact us to request renewed enrollment.
For assistance, reply HELP or contact ROM Florida at info@romflorida.com or 239-728-8278. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
SMS Data Sharing
Customer data is not shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
Mobile opt-in and consent data will not be shared with anyone for any purpose. Any information sharing described elsewhere in this policy excludes mobile opt-in, consent, and text-messaging-originator data.
Cookies and Analytics
Our website may use cookies, analytics tools, conversion tracking, and similar technologies to understand traffic sources, measure engagement, diagnose performance issues, and improve site usability. These technologies may collect limited non-sensitive browsing information automatically.
How We Share Information
ROM Florida does not sell personal information or share consumer data externally for another party’s independent promotional or marketing purposes. We may disclose limited information to hosting providers, website tools, communication platforms, analytics services, CRM vendors, and other service providers only when reasonably necessary to operate the website, deliver requested services, or support our internal business functions. Any sharing described in this section excludes mobile opt-in, consent, and text-messaging-originator data.
Data Security and Retention
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to prevent unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or sharing of personal information. These safeguards include access controls that limit personal information to authorized personnel and service providers with a business need, confidentiality obligations for team members and contractors, and security controls for systems used to store or transmit information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for business, legal, or operational purposes.
Your Choices
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the information you have previously submitted to ROM Florida, subject to any legal, contractual, or recordkeeping obligations that require retention.
Google OAuth and Google Business Profile API Access
As part of the services we provide to clients who use Google Business Profile, we operate an internal application (“GBP MCP”) that uses Google OAuth 2.0 to authenticate with Google Business Profile accounts those clients have authorized us to manage. The paragraphs below explain what data this application accesses and how it is used.
Scopes requested: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage (read and write access to authorized Google Business Profile listings, including business information, photos, posts, and customer reviews), https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email, https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.profile, and openid.
How accessed data is used: to read existing listing data for auditing and reporting, publish posts and updates authored by us or our clients, upload photos and videos provided by the client, read and respond to customer reviews, and update business information (hours, description, categories, service areas, website URL) at the client’s direction.
What we do not do: we do not sell, rent, or share Google OAuth–accessed data with any third party; do not use the data for advertising or model training; and do not access Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, or any Google service outside the Business Profile API with these credentials.
Data storage and retention: OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored encrypted on systems under our control. Business Profile data pulled via the API is used to operate the client’s listing and is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services. Clients may revoke access at any time through their Google Account security settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately invalidates our tokens.
Questions about our use of Google OAuth or Google Business Profile data may be directed to darnell@rectifyonlinemarketing.com.
